Mentorship

Mentorship

What is anyone's life without someone who can guide you through this series of confusions called life?
In the quest of life we all have to walk the path alone and throughout this onerous journey we come across some never ending impasse, in those moments of despair we slightly glance back at the path we covered looking for a glimpse of hope that can fuel our journey forward and we see that face our heart desired. Imperturbable, unmoved and carrying copious amount of faith in us, we regain that determination to tackle life single handedly. That is the role of a mentor,to sail us through the inextricable situations in life, to put your comfort ahead of their own, to always have a shoulder ready for you when the going gets tough. Having a mentor in life always gives a person that feeling of confinement which no other face in the crowd possesses. They are there when you are in trouble, they are there when you need a support, when you need guidance, when you need advice. They are the propellers to your boat. They catch you when you fall, show you light in the dark, pull you out of an abyss. Ergo a mentor becomes the most important part of your life.
Some find one early in life the others just walk through the labyrinth waylaid by problems and carry forward dejected when they can't find that placating face in the crowd.
That hollow feeling of not having a mentor in life can bring a person down instead become your own mentor, look in the mirror and find hope, find guidance, find that ray of light that will guide through the impasse. Be the one no one wanted to be for you. I look back in tough times search for that face in the crowd, when i can't find it I look in the mirror and advice my own self, I write to inspire myself. I guess not having a mentor makes you a WRITER...
